Sorry for the stupid rookie question. I did a search here and someone posted that KTM SuMo bikes like my 06 450SMR come with Soft (950) front and Medium (758) rear OEM. I think I got the same tires last time I bought them (like a year ago). I'm fairly sure about the rear, but don't remember what front I bought. Is that number printed anywhere on the sidewall?

I would go ahead and call your local Dunlop Race Tire distributor for clarification. I may be mistaken as I am a Michelin dealer, but I think Dunlop came out with some new stuff since then that is even better than previous years. I know that Michelin slicks and SM tires (and not DOT tires) come with a bar code and small numbers as well as most having the tire model code stamped in small letters on the sidewall.

Thanks. Found it: the front is 758 and the rear is (surprise, surprise) 3166 - Soft. No wonder why it didn't last. :) I'm getting both 758s this time.
