Hey guys I just put a 16/18 brembo MC with steel braded hose and 4 piston caliper, but my brake seems kind of soft to me?? I have never ridden , such combination, but I thought it would be much stiffer ..I thinc I have approximately 15-20mm floating of the lever without the free play..
any suggestions if this is normal? I still haven`t ride it yet to test it on the track , but I am not sure if it is all right ?

try putting a zip tie around the lever, holding solid pressure on it overnight, then when you get back to it, lightly tap the top of the line, working the air bubbles up. you could give it a little bleed up at the top bleeder. see if that helps

otherwise, brembo masters are usually a little squishy as they come to he full stiffness. i like a really stiff lever, so i now wha you mean. just the way it is.

unscrew the master from the bars, and raise it up so there is no bend in the line.
then pump repeadily until you get some firmness. this worked for me, expelled a lot of air.
