Hi. New to the forum. I have been riding motorcycle for over 10 years, just started taking the skill seriously in the last 2-3 years. I started on a Ninja 500 and had have many bikes since. Currently my main bike is an 08 WR250X. I also have a track only TTR125, and a Honda Monkey. It's the dumbest thing I've ever ridden, It's great. I just moved from Los Angeles to Reno. The local track up here is Desert Park Raceway (Nothern Nevada Kart Club). I haven't had a chance to go yet but hoping to get up there soon.

That's hilarious. Planning on going to the track this Saturday. I'll take pictures.
My brother-in-law had a place in Tahoe and I spent a lot of time there. It was the locals use to say "Reno is so close to hell you can see Sparks..." This was back in the late 80's and we would make dinner runs to Reno to get cheap eats and huge portions at the casinos. A lot has changed in Reno over the past 25 years.

Your WR250X look nice.

That's great. It seems like a lot of places have changed a lot in the last 5 years. And definitely a whole lot has changed over the last 25 years.

The WR has been through a lot. I bought it in 2020 from an auction after it was stolen and vandalized. I spend way too much time removing all the spray paint. Went through the whole thing replacing bearings, and anything that was beyond repair. After getting it going and riding it around I blew up the engine up Angeles Crest in a big way. Stroker crank and a new top end later its better than ever.

Anyway, I went to the Kart track on Saturday for the cleanup before the season starts. There wasn't any time or energy to ride once we were done but the dirt section is starting to take shape. I'm hoping to actually go ride on the 14th but realistically it's going to be the 21st.
