Hi everyone,I've been getting on here everyday for several months and just started posting. I raced motocross for about 15 years and had many streetbikes from 650 Nighthawk to my favorite bike I ever owned an FZR 1000. I was bikeless for many years due to my two sons that came along, a mortgage and a long list of other resposibilities. As I said,I have two sons that are my best friends and they have raced and ridden dirtbikes since they were 3 years old. They are now 20 and 12.We have made so many great memories and great lifelong friends with bikes in our lives.Of course all that fun with bikes would have never been possible without a very understanding and supportive wife.Well I really got the itch and wanted a supermoto. Finally got me one in December. I got an 05 DRZ 400SM with 2800 miles, put some graphics on it,handguards, shorter turn signals, edge tailight and a couple new tires. It came with a Yosh pipe and oversized bars. This thing is by far my pick as favorite now! I have came to this site for advice from what bike to buy to what size tires I needed. Thanks for a great source of info!

:welcome: to SMJ!
Welcome from South Eastern Indiana.
Kinda going against the man riding a Suzuki in Hondaville over there isn't it. Just kidding. Way to be a rebel.
And good choice with the Suzuki. They aren't the fasted or baddest thing on the road but very reliable and a lot of fun to ride.
Another quality member!

Good to have you.

I have Family in Kenton....been through Marysville many times. The big city eh? :D
Also have Family in Columbus and Richwood.

I too had an FZR1000. 1990 Black & Gray. What an absolutely great bike..many years ahead of it's day.
But I sold it because I just never rode it. Spend too much time on my '05 DRZ 400 SM.

Yeah I get a little flack for riding a Suzuki but, more for riding a dirtbike on the road. I just grin and get on that thing and have a blast!
