I'm looking for a 690 enduro. I will be converting it to a supermoto. I've narrowed it down to 2 choices.

#1 - 2018 completely stock with 36 mi. Yes. 36mi. The guy is 57 and said it was too much bike. $8500

#2 - 2017 with 3500 mi. Supermoto kit, 42T rear from what I can see, arrow slip on, moose hand guards with small mirrors. It also includes the stock wheels with new dunlop 606's but no stock sprocket. Dealer doesn't know anything else. $7500

The 2017 has everything I would want, but would be concerned about how it was treated when compared to the 2018 with 36 miles. If the 2018 with 36 mi didnt exist, there would be no question about what one to get.

What do you guys think?

With only 3500 miles on option #2 I would check it out and want to ride it. If there were no issues I would more likely go with #2. Take someone with you to look at it just to have a 2nd set of eyes.

What's the typical lifespan of the 690 Enduro when well maintained?
