Hello everyone!

Greetings from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I am new to the supermoto scene. Supermoto is a relatively new sport in Malaysia. Not many races are held here. Speedway Racing just took off last year, I hope Supermoto too will take off soon.

I don't have any bike at the moment. I am looking at KTM 690 SMR. The importer/assembler brought KTM models CKD (completely knocked down), therefore prices are a bit cheaper. MYR 50,500 for a KTM 690 SMR, compared to MYR 66,000 when it was brought in CBU (completely built up).

Welcome to the site!

Thats still pretty expensive, i did the conversion and thats equall to about $15,500 USD. If supermoto racing hasn't taken off yet, i'd definitely get a street legal bike, like the 690, so you can ride the streets and get more fun out of the bike.
