i have a fmf titanium 4 on the 02' xr650 r and im running the reccomended 175 jet (per FMF). I was thinking of using a SRC backfire screen and a air flow kit for the side plate to increase the air flow. Has anybody done this already and re-jetted? it might save me alot of guess-work. I live at sea-level here in florida if that helps.

175 main 72 pilot needle clip 4th groove from the top. UNI air filter and backfire screen.
Air screw 2 to 2.5 turns out.

Use some UNI 1" air vents in the left # plate. 6 is enough.
Used the same setup in my bike, Vince80's, dejavo0's and jonb's 650's
If you remove the float bowl be very careful when you re-install it. Make sure the
little brass tube doesn't hit the floats.
Hi Rich. I've still got to get a Uni filter ! I was thinking I'll leave it till early next year when I have the money for a full system and I'll do the Uni filter, airbox mod, jetting and full exhaust at the same time. Doesn't the Uni filter have a built in backfire screen ?
