did either of you have a gps to compare? my r1 speedo is off (too high) by about 10%. when i compared my ktm with gps, it was pretty accurate.
as for mileage, you should check the jetting. the PO had a 198 on mine before i rejetted.. i think i get about 70-75 before it hits the reserve.
