Hey guys,
trying to remove my front drive sprocket but the SOB wont budge. :headscrat anyone have any tips or tricks to help me remove it?????
any help is much appreciated

I usually put it in neutral to relieve stress from the tranny, but maybe I'm being over protective. I generally use an impact wrench with good results, but if that isn't available try holding the rear brake (either a bungee cord, friend, or if you're flexible your own foot) and put a breaker bar on it.

mine was never stuck, so I've had no real problems with it.
should it help: in my case, asking a friend for help was always enough :)
pressing the rear brake while keeping pressure on the rear tire so it won't turn over the ground (chain still on) was always enough to be able to loosen the nut

thanks for the replys. I got the nut and washer off fine but it was the sprocket itself that was stuck on the shaft. i ended up soaking it with a penetrating oil and slowly pried it off with a giant flathead screwdriver. took me about 20 minutes. all this just to change the chain slider cuz i was too lazy to remove the swing arm
