I was looking at pics of the bikes on this website and noticed that some of the fork and swiinger sliders looked home made out of skate board wheels. Am I seeing this right? If so thats a neat idea. Lots of different wheel designs to go with.

Yup, just skate board wheels. get a threaded rod, some nuts and washers (and the skateboard wheels obviously) and you now have yourself a set of frame sliders for about $20.

I laid my bike down about 2 weeks ago, scratched the hell out of the wheels but aside from a few marks on my headlight (nicked a curb) and the skate wheels you can't tell it went down.

I made my own but I can't make them for anywhere near as cheap as a set of skateboard wheels. :(

Mine look cooler though. Benefits of having your own machine shop. :)

Haven't got any decent pics. Machined them out of black delrin rod. I did a set for the front axle, a set for the lever guards and one for each side of the swingarm.
