I'm 5'8" but only have a 28" inseam. That makes most dual sports and supermotos a bit too tall to be practical. I have no problem one-legging it, but constantly one-legging it with a knee over the seat is a little too much. The 1" difference in seat height between the two is a dramatic difference for me. There's also a lower seat option available for the SM. The SMC doesn't look like it has much seat foam to work with.

yes, look in the ktm section under manufacturers. there are a lot of people in there with them.

Got a chance to spend a few hours on the new 2008 KTM 690 SMC
Here is a brief report

If I didn't own a hyper already I would be looking into one of these. Its the best looking KTM to date.
