Me and Mrs. Jekyll are headed to Road Atlanta for the WERA races on Sunday. There are a few SEMRA racers racing there so were gonna give them some support. Yall have fun at the track day in Elgin!

it will be great to have you nuts there:bowdown:supermoto is one of the reasons i got the track back going. you guys give me some input on how to get you there on a reg. basis....people have heard of sm and that attracts spectators...more spectators = less entry $ for riders:thumbup: rob

First up I'd say post any upcoming track days here at SMJ as well as Semra.org cuz most of these peeps never go over there. Then there's the "added dirt section" rumor that was started last year, hmmmmm :hmmm: now that would get some attention. And finally I'd do most of these track days during the cooler spring and fall months cuz us mountain boys will melt when the mercury gets over 95deg. Just my .02 and we're jonesing to get there this Sunday, see ya then.

Here's some pics from our two trips down there last year for those that haven't been. First trip was an open track day second was an endurance race that my buds at Ohlins provided a ride down and a bike for my son and I to enter.

I take it most people will be there early to avoid the afternoon heat? Actually it's supposed to be a little cooler on Sunday than it has been so I may even get to stay after 11:30. :thumbup:

Had a great time, guys! It was great to meet all of you and get to ride. The day was almost perfect. Just a very brief shower before one of our sessions, but not enough to make the track slippery.

I lent my camera to Stumpy when we went out for one session. I get it back and he took over 300 pictures! Sheesh, that's gonna take a little while to go through!

BIG THANKS to all who showed up.Glad you cats had a Good time. We will be running a track night Saturday Nite July 12 from 4- 10 pm or later :thumbup: when it's a good bit cooler. plus there nothing like riding under the lights...we also offer Free camping if ya want to stay over for the SEMRA Race on sunday....
