Well, we have decided that we can no longer wait for the new addition to be added to our current building and we are moving into our new bigger home within a few weeks... Now the main warehouse and shop will be in the same building..

The new building will house an 8' powdercoat oven, 3' powdercoat oven, 12' spray booth, Spoke machine to produce large "quantities" of spokes, 4' anodize tanks...

HUGE powdercoat deals will be offered once we get back on line...

The good news for you is WE DON"T WANT TO MOVE ALL THE STUFF FROM THE WAREHOUSE... Sounds like a great time for some big sales!!! Please pass the word around... We don't want to move everything...

Be sure to checkout our specials page at: http://store.eastcoastwheels.com/specials2.html

This will be updated daily with LOTS of items...

First specials will be Exhausts, Triple clamps, "Wheels", handlebars...

Shoot me any requests thru our request info section and be sure to mention you are a SMJ member...... Please don't post them here... we haven't been able to get on the boards too much lately...

They won't answer the phone or call you back... so best shop somewhere else. That's what I did.

I can also input a little on this. Before I decided to go with the Husky SMR I was going to convert a WR and wanted to get one of those SM conversion kits. You know the ones where you drop $2500 all at once and are set with everything you need (almost everything :) ).

I contacted ECW to find if I could swap some parts from their package and they got back to me in two days saying they could, so I replied and asked for a quote with shipping for the package with the exchanges I wanted. I never heard back from them.

I also contacted Motostrano, and they CALLED me that very day to say they received my email, and to verify the parts I wanted. Then they sent me a complete quote two days later. Needless to say I was very impressed.

So while in this case neither company got the sale, my future on-line purchases will be going to Motostrano--I still prefer to support my local shops but if I go online I know where to go now. Nothing against ECW though, I have heard really great things about them and do not doubt they are a great shop but from my experience Motostrano upped them.

To pour some salt in the wound. I haven't heard back from the guys either and it has been about 2 weeks since I sent an email.
But I also understand that moving usually means a lot of organizing and stress.
I'll just try againg in a couple weeks when I actually plan to make the buy.
Just need to find out if their price incl. shipping will beat my local dealer incl. sales tax :)
Motostrano looks very good too though. Sent them an email as well.

Sorry about the delays in responding guys... With trying to inventory everything from two locations, get the move organized, get everyone's wheels out for Daytona, Get all the teams ready - Where are now sponsoring the #1 Canadian National plate team ... We are working on our current customers to make sure they are all set at the expense of replying to new inquires...- sorry... ( please keep in mind we get 150 phone calls per day along with 100 e-mails per day )...As vrecksler stated, he needed quotes on a mess of parts and didn't order them... (not trying to dis vrecksler) but this happens 75 times per day (sorry, if we didn't get back to you)... It would do us (and you) no good if we replied to you and then couldn't deliver what you wanted - People who have done business with us KNOW of our customer service... we're just a little messed up right now getting ready for the move... (should not have done it before Daytona...)... Bear with us thru this...

Only a little longer...

having done business with east coast, and having heard many other's experience, i'm pretty confident in this summary:

They can be disorganized which can be frustrating, BUT you simply cannot beat their prices and service. if they screw up they'll make it right. there will be exceptions, but generally that's the lowdown.

btw, i emailed motostrano a couple a days ago and got zero response.

I will pay a few bucks more to get with a company that provides good service........ Good service means everything to me!!! People who appreciate good service will always pay more and will always recomend that company to others and will ALWAYS COME BACK. I like to buy from companies that people I know have recomeneded to me, because they have had a pleasant buying experience.

I guess telephone is the way you want to go. Immediate response practically guaranteed. Email still seems to be way to unpopular with a lot of sellers. And not only in the motorbike business. It's practically everywhere...
