i'll take few pics on weekend. not sure but i think full sys only. anyhow, no point using just slip-on if power is what you want. the system is almost identical to one on xxridexx picture. also there are option on just one pipe or twin cans. they sell twin system but you can leave other can off and plug the header. on one can system whitout noise killer sound is loud enough... i like twin cans whitout killers, still loud but the note is softer.

Akrapovic on my duke

Last week i have installed the Akra on my Duke. Without the silencers it sounds nice, but when you open the throttle, you become deaf. With the silencers mounted, in idle the sound is not loud enough, but again when you open the throttle, it is hard. The tone is higher then I expected. More like a dragracer with open exhausts.
I have made the silencer half the lenght and reinstalled them. Still to soft, now I am running with 1 silencer mounted and one out. Now the sound is nice and it doesn't make me deaf. No landmower anymore.

That's not necessarily true. If it's tuned right, small, low volume, straight pipes can make a lot of power, just in a narrow range.

Here's a 690 SM with a Duke headlight assembly.

Thats a Duke with a SM exhaust. Trust me I have both bikes. I will post pics of my LEO Vince SM exhaust on my Duke and the stock Duke exhaust on the SM.

I'm sooo tired of my wife giving me shit because my Duke sounds like a lawnmower...

What stops anyone from putting any exhaust can they want on this bike? (as it appears some have done!)
For instance a supertrapp megaphone with external adjustable flow/ baffle plates?

The GPR looks very nice, "E" marked for road use and removable baffles, you can also take it apart easy to rebaffle later... the system looks well made and is £750. £300 cheaper than the Akro, and road leagle

But the GPR system uses the stock down pipe doesn't it, thats why its cheaper? The Akra is £700, its the £300 link pipe bumps the price up. For another £300 Id prefer to have the Akra with the right maps and warranty intact.
