The GPR looks very nice, "E" marked for road use and removable baffles, you can also take it apart easy to rebaffle later... the system looks well made and is £750. £300 cheaper than the Akro, and road leagle

yes bracken... they have them in stock. the Akra looks good, but for £1100 for a race pipe only, it should. there must be more choice soon..... wont bother with one till the power commander comes out too.

i have looked at the GPR, its a well made pipe and i am tempted, the only thing putting me off is the longer front pipe, that would make it loose some bottom end and place it at the top..... not my style of riding. I like the FMF and have been in touch with a guy selling them in the US and i can get one sent to the UK for £450, just not sure about it, looks great, i just dont want a very loud one, and FMF has always seemed to be very loud to me.... so, after alot of thinking, i spend enough money on my Duke 690 buying it, why should i scrimp on it now, so the Akro is the one for me....

only ridden home on it so far but sound is quiet with baffles in, not had them out yet.... its still got the standard map on it, as the shop tells me the ECU has to adapt to the new pipe, the Akro map will go on if there are any probs.... none so far. it feels more free, but wouldnt say its as big a power increase as otheres have said, maybe better once ECU has sorted itself out... over all, im pleased, its built well and looks good... and EU stamped for british law.

thanks for your comments but ive not been impressed with the pipe so far, its not making the bike any more power full or ride any better than stock. also stalls alot now, never had it before, its got a solid baffle welded in the middle of the can too... Akro is being fitted on thursday....

the reason the Akro map wasnt put on was its for a race can and wont work on a baffled pipe, this GPR is as restrictive as the standard....
I had an XT660, they sort them out by fitting a power commander and mapping to suit.... cant do that on the duke yet. carbs are the future, wonder if i can get one fitted... hmmmmmmm, now wheres my hammer
