Given the ad says it comes with an RPM sensor and the stock DRZ doesn't have a tach, I think it's a pretty safe assumption you're going to have to at least install that.

Yes you are. Nothing on a motorcycle is above the ability of someone with some patience. Just buy it and do it - it's not rocket surgery and there are plenty of people on here to help you out if you get stuck.

Yeah, not that hard. I wish I would have thought of using power from the stock unit, I ran it all the way back to the battery. That's a good tip.

I have one on my DRZ & you don't really need to wire it.You just connect a few wires!! I also put one on my Husky a month ago. The so called wiring part took a little under 10 minutes!!
