Some of us in Michigan are currently debating whether or not track days that are split into sessions based experience level are a good idea. See thread here: http://www.supermotojunkie.com/showthread.php?t=58614

I thought I'd post up a new thread to see how many other Sumo riders go to track days where they are split up into different groups (i.e beginner/expert, etc.)

I'm just trying to find out if running different groups at a Sumo track day is fairly common or not.

Thanks for the input

The track days that I have been to will separate if there are enough of each group to do so. If not we just run together but respect each other. The races are always split up though.
I think this idea would transfer well to the group I ride at too. I think it wasn't as bad when there went as many people showing up.
