That was the major reason I left my home in the north suburbs of Chicago and moved to Las Vegas in 1988, no more -40 F. But the summers here,112F. are almost as bad and almost as long but you can actualy ride that is if you and the bike can stand the heat. Califorina's nice just way too crowded and expensive but still nice to visit. Jeff.
