A. Miller,

Without burning a hole in your pocket? Stay with the 16" stock rear wheel and get an XR80 16" front wheel. The money you save you cen get good Bridgestone BT45 or Pirelli Diablo 16" tires front and back. The BEST bang for the buck.

I can help you with getting the tires!

Tire Choices

These sets are tires we've ridden and like.

Fronts:
Bridgestone Battlax BT45 - 100/90-16 $79
Avon Viper Stryke 110/80-16 $77 (same as rear)
Pirelli Diable 110/70-16 $77 (same as rear)

Rears:
Bridgestone Battlax BT45 - 110/90-16 $89
Avon Viper Stryke 110/70-16 $77 (same as front)
Pirelli Diablo 110/70-16 $77 (same as front)

Hope that helps.

I run the 16" front and rear and it was the cheapest way to go and the BT 45's work really good. I have the 132 kit in my bike and i come in the top 3 at the races with the 150f's. The 100 is alot lighter and i find it easy to throw into the corners. It was really cheap to set up and be competitive. I dont think you will regret going with the 16" wheels...
