I was thinking about trading my drz for a 2009 husqvarna 450smr. I was wondering if it would be able to handle a commute of 36 miles back 2 ways Monday through Thursday
the question comes up a lot and it always boils down to the same thing.
the bike can do it, but realize maintenance frequency will rise severely if you start racking up miles fast which also means an engine rebuild will come around a lot sooner compared to a bike that's just used a weekend warrior toy. race bike with lights, gotte pay to play.
I agree Skully25, i had my Husky in free time/hobby bike, then it is just epic..My brother was using 2010 SM510R Husky in daily commuting bike, that maintenance frequency was little too short in daily commuting bike
