try the conti SM tires. but they might be too soft if you do alot of freeway riding. you'll need to hit them hard on the weekends!

I had scorpion sync for a while and they actually grip quite well. looks durable too.

I've made my mind up and am going to go with the Michelin pilot road CT2. It's a dual compound tire with the center being harder and the sides soft. After doing some research the Contiforce sounds like it's a soft compound tire that doesn't wear very well.
I know that it's a sacrifice: grip or wear. But I just can't afford $200 or more a mo. for rubber.

the 2CT has the same center compound as the 'regular' pilot. the sides are softer though.
