Some women moved over in my lane yesterday without seeing me and I was forced to kick her car! It almost got ugly but I managed to ride it out. I was pretty pissed off about it and than I just got a phone call from my buddy. He was hit last night by someone who "thought" he was turning and ran right into him at 55mph, needless to say he has 4 brakes in his one leg and two holes that go straight to the bone (one being 2-3 inches wide) after surgery he "might" be able to walk normal again in 3 months.

WATCH OUT PEOPLE, CARS JUST DON'T SEEM TO GET IT! :2hard

That kind of stuff really pisses me off. I have learned not to ride in the next lane beside the rear corner of a car because they just can't see you. I had that happen a couple times where they just changed lanes on me and almost forced me off the road :headshake

I too hate to hear that stuff. I hope he's O.K. soon.
After years of riding in the dirt, when I was 15 1/2 and ready to hit the street, my Dad gave me some of the best advise: "When you ride the street, pretend you're invisible...pretend they don't see you...it only takes one". After a few decades of street riding it has worked so far...knock on wood, carbon fiber, Ti, kevlar, leather, plastic, rubber, or anything else that may help.
