yea i thought about that. but i would still want to buy black plastic to do it. i also looked at hydrocoating, but its pricey. i would almost buy the equipment to do it if there was a good chance to make some money at it.
Hydro dipping kit can be found for less than 100 but I haven't seen a carbon fiber dip yet. The problem with hydro dipping is if you scratch the plastic you'll have to re-coat the plastics. I'd agree with the carbon vinyl as this would be the cheapest route but them again I would like to dip new colors every couple of months. :lol:
3M Makes a cast vinyl with Carbon Fiber in it. I use it on alot of stuff and it is amazing. I've wrapped exhaust canisters, dashboards, motorcycle headlights, grills, etc. It is very durable and looks amazing. Take a look at a few samples of stuff I've done personally:
