You poor thing. I hate seeing people settle.So after lusting after a 690SMC, til I realized there were none to be had, and then looking and being scared away from a SXV 4.5, I ended up with this..Just brought it home today.. Have yet to ride it!
Yeah.. I did the reading and realised this will also need racebike like maintenance.. I'll probably be racing it as well so that's fine.. The reason I ended up going for it is the simplicity. Single and carburated = less dealer time and laborOnce you get past the capuccino issue with the Apes they're not so bad. You might want to look into inspection intervals on the Berg. Bottom end in particular I believe. They're hardly the bullet proof alternative to an SXV.

Fixed that on the 07 model. I like the idea of a model at the end of it's development comapred to the start as in the SXV.
