Not trying to thread jack, but I will be/ need to be in the market for a suit pretty soon as well. But, I have a slight prob with anything fitting me worth a sh!t - I do bodybuilding/powerlifting and am 5'9", 197 lbs with a 46" chest, 32" waist, and 26" thighs, and 18" arms just for a size reference. Is anybody else in this boat??? For example - I went a tried on an Alpine Stars body armor suit and I barely fit in an XXL. I almost got stuck in the last suit I tried on to boot. Basically anything that actually fits me is way to long in the torso, legs, and arms. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, that would prob be the best route -just scared to take a $500+ suit to get it altered with the risk of them fubaring the thing...
