Hi Folks!

I am in the market for a Supermoto, track specific.
I live in Colorado, and ride a KTM Superduke 1290 for the street.

Mexican dealers have 2014 KTM SMR 450 for $10.000, and Husqvarna sm-450 for $12.000, available, now. (Yes, you walk in, and buy it...)

Then, here is the big question, how to bring it in to USA?
Part it, put it in the back of a truck, and bring it?
Are there any legal ways?
Any experiences with this project?

Thanks in advance...
George

how long are the dealers in the US going to wait for the bikes?

pick up the phone and call a US Customs office and see what they say.....they will tell you if you need to pay taxes on it when crossing the border.....
in mex you may be exempted from their local taxes if you prove its going to be exported, but that is a long shot...

Yeah you can race it..but tbh it needs a shorter swingarm and different triple clamps. Check out Wierus his topic for all the details.

I'd look for a Husqvarna SMRR if you can find it..thats one race ready bike!
