Ok, so does anyone else have any more pics, info on this bike? I went to the website but they onle have this 1 picture (they have loads of there cut up 950SM ) Any help with decoding what these guys did and what parts they used would be much appreciated. 690SMC guys, eat your heart out

Looks better than the SMC and Duke!!! Why'd ya have to go and post that up, huh?
Looks good but I like my 690 Duke better. When I settle with the insurance maybe I will do something wild with my SM.
Looks like a duke, 690 smc & a 625 collided head on and morphed into a cross breed. Has to be in the UK. Look at the size of the tag and the one on the bike in the shop in the background.
Uk plates are yellow on the rear with black writing....looks like an italian plate to me.
Looks awesome!!!!

I've seen a few of the SM's done up like that while browsing the UK forum.... Pimp for sure!!!
Mostly it looks like they just removed the entire dash, removed the tail fender, removed the front sprocket cover, swapped the front fender out for an EXC or dirt orientated fender, and slapped a shit ton of stickers on it.

Those are the obvious ones at least, looks mostly stock otherwise :)

edit: The entire rear plastic was either chopped up to expose the airbox or replaced ( can't tell from that photo )

Also looks like a duke rear swingarm and the whole air box gas tank deal is reversed from an SMC. That's obviously an air box under the seat and a gas tank at the front of it.

yeppers - i was under the impression this was a SupMo mod not an SMC mod - aren't the new SMC tanks upfront anyway though ?

edit: Loving the oversized wave disc up front too:pimp:

It has the trellis frame like the SMC but the SMC's gas tank is under your ass and the air box is where a typical motorcycles gas tank would be.

Isn't that just a Duke 690 w/SMC headlight, front & rear fenders, sidepanels, wheels, & exhaust?
edit: I stand corrected !
My guess is that the guy crashed his '07 690 SM doing a wheelie or such and destroyed the rear plastics, front fender and possibly headlight fairing, so he stripped it down. No turn signals or headlight so it can't be street legal....why leave the mirrors?

It also looks like he chopped up the front "tank shroud" to expose the coolent bottle
I can't get used to street bike exhaust on any of these bikes. It just looks weird (and vulnerable) for the pipe to run UNDER the chain...
I don't think the rear axle sliders will do much on this with those pontoons hanging off the side...:D But its a good lookin ride though.
