They need to put the Maico engine tuned by Zabel in there.
That's a motor typically used for sidecar applications and has at least 80 horse. :bowdown:

The ATK is probably going to be based on the Intimidator . Supermoto Kit is one of the Options to choose.
And it's maybe going to do 60 horses in the stock form. Everything else would probably be called "attempted murder" and get the importer into jail. :laughingr :rofl:

The Maico specs. state 80HP, so figure that it has at least 70 at the rear wheel. That and a wide flat torque curve that is probably 60ftlbs. + sounds like lots of fun ...and should be AMA legal. :hmmm:

A raped ape, remember that this thing has roughly 200cc on a KX or CR 500. It's probably set-up pretty mild, but imagine the possibilities.

it is a LH kicker, look at the angle of the start of the stroke, yikes....
The guy who dynoed my bike stalled it and refused my help to kick start it......he was wearin sneakers....good clean start but he still winced as he limped away :laughingr

Man, a two stroke twin 685cc monster...my kinda bike for sure! I thought two strokes were basically a thing of the past, let alone a two stroke twin! That thing is monsterous and appropriatly named...but I like the comment about naming it attempted murder! :laughingr :Funny:

It has two expansion chambers...but NO1 I rechecked, it is one monsterous snakey piped monster! Holey shit! a 700cc single 2 poper!!!!

It is a single, it has a decompresion valve for starting, it was design for max torqe and makes about 60hp, it has a snowmoblie style power valve on the exhaust port. It has a wee little 38 mm carb. A old 81 490 would still walk on this bike in a drag race, but with a spiked tire she"ll pull stumps out of your back yard.

Reminds me of a trip to the dealership one day last year...

One of the sales guys was going out front to help a customer with thier new 'monster' 700cc Yamaha quad. He was wearing sneakers and as we watched him try to kick it over, he missed TDC the first time and it kicked back on him. He jumped up as the lever whacked him back up and almost off of it. You could see that it hurt and hurt bad. I felt for the guy, but we (about six of us standing around) couldn't stop laughing for ten minutes or more, it was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time.

I went back there a week later, and he was still limping around on that foot. :headshake

I'd love one of these monster Maico/ATK's...bring it on. And it wouldn't be called attempted murder so much as attempted suicide. It'll take a lot of convincing to get some people on this, and none for others {raises hand}.
