The boys were flying and crashing HARD. Track was marginal at best. I was disappointed with the layout and the poor prep work on the " new " dirt section that ended up not being used. I would have expected something a little better for a National show. They had time to do it, why it was left to the last minute makes no sense.

The way I understood it the SM series is no longer in the AMA's hands in 2008 for promoting. Supermoto was part of the AMA/DMG sell off and the promoting rights went to XTRM Sports Network (formerly XBux, Inc.)

If that is actually the case (which is still up for debate, it seems) then www.amasupermoto.com should reflect that, and redirect visitors to the proper website. Instead, there's still somewhat current content there, including a press release from last week regarding the web broadcasts.

No race results or anything useful like that, but still content that makes me (and probably any casual observer) think the AMA is still in charge.
