Well said...I am running a 125 this year for my first season of racing. I grew up riding 2-strokes and am definately a die hard 2 stroker. I agree, the regulations should be the same as supercross and motocross.racerx said:I dont agree with only 4 strokes..it should be the same as the AMA supercross and motocross nationals...the cost is cheaper and I am on a KTM sponsorship and the 4 stroke wont be available for some time in limited quantities..the 2 smoke is fast enough and will bring more racers..young and die hard 2 strokers to the races(thats the idea, support class) the ama has another bug up their political butt...I race 4 strokes in the other classes...but the 2 smokes are fine easy to fix and race....easier on the wallet...need to protest the ama decision...2 strokes dont pollute as much as people think..lots of technology lately with 2 stroke efficiency..look at europe and the 250 supercross class..rest my case...my 2 cents..

well said my mate had a YZ125 set up for super moto the thing lunched itself every time he rode it ,he put it back to dirt trim and brought a CRF450 and first time out on the track he was 5sec a lap fasterRAD said:2 strokes suck for Supermotard yet everyone is complaining they aren't allowed. The 125's aren't even competitive in MX much less going down straights at high speeds like Supermotard. I think a 125 would blow up very easily in Supermotard unless it was maintained every week and ringed every second ride or so.
My 2 cents
