3 bikes two sets of 17" rims , and find myself enjoying riding dirts more on the back shingle roads too the sumo rims on the tar !

When i ride the streets in tard i just tend too pull some wheelies and wont slide in the twisty stuff , same bike same road with dirt rims on i will light the back end up and put the bike into a slide , I feel comfortable on dirt rims 20 yrs of my life do i have too push myself alot further to get the same feeling control on my Tards .

lol at that pic.

i really like sliding my dirt wheels on the road. i also really like railing corners with the 17s. its good to have both setups IMO. i would miss it if i got rid of either set.

Try spending more time on those dirt roads with your 17s.

Im sure youre comfortable there and once you get used to sliding all over the place with the street tires it will translate quite nicely to the tarmac.

But, dont forget to properly set up your suspension when you go to motard trim.
