Hey guys,
I have a quick question. I just pickup up a complete Akrapovic exhaust (stainless factory header/Ti slipon) on ebay and I am wondering if a rejet is typically needed?
I have a '05 525 SMR with KTM 540 piston and stroker crank. I don't know if it's cammed or not but it has the stock pipe and slip-on currently.
I do have past experience jetting (mostly two strokes) but it's always hard to find a long enough straight away to get color on a four-stroke, so I am hoping I would at least be reasonably safe to add the exhaust and delay jetting other than maybe a plug check or two at the track.
