Alright guys, well round one is over with, What did you guys think about it? personaly i think they had a wicked track and the dirt was alot of fun.. though i suck in it. ahh well heres hopen to more great tracks.
It was my first supermoto race. I raced Mid "A". The track was amazing to say the least and the dirt section was a whole different ball game on 17". It was great to see Ted Baker get so cranked up at the event. He even took time to give me some pointers to work on which was great. The Leamington staff and Supermoto Canada staff did a top notch job.
I was never at any Supermoto events before so I did not know what to expect and this was a great experence. Good clean racing everyone
Welcome aboard the bandwagon Racer18 , hopfully now that ted says hes using this same track builder and we get people like steve beattie *who did an amasing amount of work getting this race together* we can get alot more great races coming . Oh and just outa curosity Racer18 what were you riding *bike number, type?* in mid A? I raced that classes to and seemed like we all had alot of fun. I was riding #70, the red honda that stalled in the dirt section the 2nd or third lap and ever one blew by heh :boxing:
I was #118, Black CRF450. My side plates were blank. Just a little prob with #18 being double assigned. I think you were the one who edged me out near the end of the main?
Hey Sporty66, Ya, Steve Beattie was there. He drove in from Quebec.
Racer 18, Thats sweet man we had a really good race, you were riding really well and i defently cant wait for the next round . also hah im not 100% sure what we were saying to each other at the end, i cant really rember but sorry if i cut you off badly on that pass :hammer: good race though man. but yep steve was there, he went to take the win in the finaly for the Premer race.
Thanks, nope, you made a good clean pass. I left the door open a ya put it to me streight up. It's all good!! I am looking forward to the next round. Now that I have an idea of what to expect on race day I can work on my weak area's.
Cool pic's, Hopefully we can mixer up at the next round again.
yea defently hope so , im really hoping this year ever thing with supermotocanada really starts to come together for them, Red bull is giving us some suport with the Docks aparently So hopfully if they really like that event maby next year we can get some more suport for other events and then we can really make the sport grow  though i kinda think we still got worked, saterday was $80 for pratice, and we started an hour late.. maby alittle pricy.
I think that once the attendance numbers increase the overhead on each person will come down I hope. The events are not every weekend so its not as bad as it could be.
Whats with the D4? Did you have your motor done by them? If you did, what do you think of it? I had mine done by Jeff from D4 and it rips... Fastest 250F i've ridden!
The motor hauls ass and some. Jeff "Dutch" did an amazing job on it. I am running Port/Polish, 04 piston, Stage 2 Hot Cam and a 04 Vortex V10 Ignition. The fastest 450 I've had my hands on. I could not be happier with the work D4 puts out the door.
