Here is a video from 4/29-5/1 that Joe (com3) and I filmed. The main roads in the video are Highway 229, Highway 58, and Bitterwater Rd.

Please do not hotlink the video. If you'd like to share, please direct people to the thread. Thanks.

*edit* Joe's site doesn't support streaming very well. Try right-clicking and saving the file if you have problems.
*edit* direct link to the video. http://seppes.com/bike/movies/slo.wmv

What other forum did you find this on?

I post alot on MCUSA as "Kansas"

There was a link there, and I do beleive there was another one on ST.N but I can't say for certain. I wouldnt be suprised if it was on adv rider by now. I've noticed com3 told you about it (the MCUSA thread), and you've already posted over there.

Thanks. The video has spread a bit and I'm trying to keep track of where it has gone so that we can respond to any questions regarding the video. The two most common questions are "What roads are those?" and "What have you done to the DR?".

I'm sorry to say that the video has been pulled for the time being. We need to find a 2nd location to host the video. It has been downloaded over 4800 times in 4 days and is more than Joe can handle at the moment. If anyone willing to help host the video, please let me know.

Thanks

The longest day ride was 400+ miles and the longest trip was 1300 miles or so in 3 days. It has 30600 miles on it right now.

I think some street tarders are more comfortable than sportbikes. I went 435 miles on my dual sport in 15 hours once. That was an awesome ride. The seat is more comphy than my SVS. The seat on the SVS sucks. :headshake

30K miles? WHew. That's a real enthusiast. I got 23K on my XT.
