no, haven't had that problem, did a ride up the crest here today, about 60- 70 miles or more, ran awesome and that was going from 5500 feet at my house to 11,600 feet up at the crest

might want to take to the dealer, have them reload the stock map, let it sit at idle for 15 minutes after the remap, see if that fixes it
yea i figured i'd reflash it on tuesday when i get to work.

Look for a vacume leak. Maybe a plug or cap fell off on a line that was removed or plugged if you got rid of your EPA crap. Good luck!
it could be a vacuum leak, but where?

i haven't touched the EPA crap yet.

the manual says at 621 miles to "check the cable harness of the throttle valve body for damage and correct positioning". i wonder if this needs adjustment, maybe thats why its stalling out.

i'm gonna go play around and check some stuff over.

ok she seems to be running much better now, i rode it some more and then topped the gas back off. i topped it off at a station that i knew was good and had a seperate nozzle for each grade. i think it must have been shitty gas. i did a mix of some aggressive riding, and some stop and go city stuff. it only stalled once and wasn't popping anymore than it did before. the idle is once again steady and at around 1,750 like it should be.

i will report back later, but i am 98% sure it was just some crappy gas.

i'm thinkin maybe with the ignition on setting number 2, that maybe it needs really good gas to run properly because it advances the timing so much.

maybe i either got a low grade gas, or maybe the gas was bad and had water or something in it. who knows.

but it seems better now, rides normal, sounds normal, idles normal, only died once at idle.

she's all running good now! just did a nice 20 mile or so ride, and there was no popping, spitting, or hesitation like there was before. it is idleing like normal now. nice and smooth, and didn't stall at the couple stop signs i stopped at. everything seems all good. i am blaming shitty gas.

she started acting up again yesterday towards the end of about an hour or so long ride. it won't do it on a quick little ride, only on long rides which seems odd. we reflashed the ecu today and will see what happens. only rode it the 12 minute ride home. after dinner i'll take her out for a bit and see what happens.

so tonight i did some more riding, my fuel light came on so i figured i'd try to go about 20 miles or so before putting gas in just for the hell of it to see if any problem arise. at 18 miles after the light came on it started to run like it was running out of gas, it kept bogging BAD. i made it to the gas station, let it idle for a minute and suprisingly it idled fine. topped the tank back off, and it only took 2.8, so there was still .4 gallons left in the tank, so it was not close to running out of gas and shouldn't of been bogging like it was running out. so i am still thinking the problem is something fuel related. either water in the gas or something.

maybe i should run it really low and drain whats left and refill.
