I have a slight leak on my clutch master cylinder, around the rubber boot where the lever pushes on the cylinder. I was looking to rebuild with OEM parts or buy a new one. The parts fiche shows the cylinder parts as 10.5mm and it's $54 (plus shipping). The complete OEM master is $270, which is a bit steep so started looking for a non-KTM magura clutch masters. The only ones I can find that look like the stock unit (with the decomp lever) are 9.5mm diameter cylinders (at 1/2 the price of the OEM one). Can anyone enlighten me as to the actual cylinder diameter for the SMC? Has anyone rebuilt with the OEM parts (if so what was your experience)? Will the 9.5 diameter work? Any other clutch master options?

TIA

just look for a used one. or slightly used.

check out KTM talk. the SMC uses the same master/slave as a 200 fyi.

Thanks for the heads up. I just checked though and couldn't find it under the first page of the part-out section. Can you point me in the right direction?
