I'm picking up a 620 Duke & I had some questions (I'm mainly familiar w/Honda XR's). For what I read, these engines seem to be pretty reliable, true? Any known issues & anything to watch for? BTW, it comes w/a Keihn 41mm flat slide carb.

are you referring to a duke I?

or duke II?

FCR41 might be a little too big for a duke I.


LC4s are quite reliable. valve clearance checked?

'97 Duke I. I just installed the FMF exhaust that the previous 61 yr. old owner had given me (it was too loud for him) & it seems to run fine w/the FCR. The bike has 18k miles & he checked the valves every 3k miles. He was pretty anal about maintenance.
