Hi guys, I'm looking to buy my first bike, and it's going to be a Husqvarna 510 smr! I have my eyes on a 2007 model.

Now is my question, how to tell them apart from the 2006 model?
Are there any visible changes made to the bike?

And do you have any tips on flaws to look out for when buying a second hand bike?

Thanks a lot!

I don't know a ton on the MV era bikes. But I have rode a 07' smr450 and it felt very similar to my 09'. Go for it and it's still a carb, which can be easier to work on.

Maybe someone will chime in that know more about those years.

Good luck.

I'm pretty sure the '06 and '07 bikes are the same. '05 for that matter. The only difference in my '04 is the plastics.

No common problem issues that I'm aware of.

Is it stock?

06 and 07 are the same bike. They switched to EFI in 08

Or you can check the frame number :) The manufactor year is the last two numbers I think!
