Hi, should i am getting the 351 kit, and was wondering if it was necsessary to port and polish the heads.
And, i dont think im gonna get the TM 34 right away, i contacted bill blue, and he told me jetting, will this system work?
Exhaust is a powercore 4.

:hmmm: Not really sure about what you're asking in part of your post.

But no, porting and polishing the head for the 351 isn't necessary. That's a lot of money for a negligible gain in my opinion. The 351 will give adequate bang for the buck.

If you're asking is the pumper carb harder to tune, then from what I've read (I don't have one so I can't say for sure) they are harder to tune as far as jetting is concerned.

You can install the 351, stay with the stock CV carb, go with a Dynojet stage II kit (for the aftermarket exhaust and airbox mods) follow the instructions from Dynojet on how to set up the jetting and get very good results for very little fiddling around.
