Has anyone used a 28mm Keihin carb on a xr100?
If so what did you use for jetting?..ball park would be fine.

I'm using one (Takegawa PE28mm carb kit for the NSF) but I'm running the Takegawa 124 stage 3 with it. I believe that a 28mm carb is too big for anything less and if you don't have the superhead, it will not run right.
I have not checked what jets Takegawa put in it... I just got it so I'll pull it apart and see. They also sent extra jets

I'm running a PWK 28 carb on my BBR 120, MegaCycle cam, Powroll 12:1 piston, .025" decked and lightly ported head. Performs pretty dam good too...

Hey Brian, does that Takegawa PE needle have #'s?
The PE and PWK share needles, I might have to pick one up for some testing.

not to jack this thread but I was wondering what size carb to run on my Piranha 125 motor. if has a cheap 22mm that came with it but was thinking about switching to the Mikuni VM26-606 when i put on my Yoshi TRS exhaust.

would the 26mm be too big?
