Hi,

Just picked up a set of 17" Behr KTM rims to go on my 2018 350 EXC and while the rear with the cush drive went straight in, front is proving less straightforward.

Front new rim appears to have bearings to suit a 20mm axle, which I assume makes it a pre 2003 wheel, whereas my 350 has a 22mm front axle.

Looks like it'd be possible to replace the existing bearings with 22mm units and run it straight off the 350 22mm axle and machine up some spacers to get it to sit right for the disc, but is there any existing drop in kit to do this or better suggestions?

Many thanks!

Nah no chance with the original spacers - the Behr front hub has a bearing with a 20mm bore, whereas the 2018 EXC front axle is 22mm, before the spacers on top of that.

What I did in the end was pull out the original bearings and swap them for 22mm versions, then machine up three custom spacers - one to go in between the bearings and one on each side of the hub to position the wheel correctly for the brake on the OEM front axle and it all works a treat.

I need to do exactly the same. Do you happen to remember the width of the spacers you made?
