I swamped my 2011 WR450 last fall. Unfortunately I tried to start it full of water. I got it running on the trail and have flushed the engine at least 5 times. I cleaned under the valve cover. I inspected the oil pump, cleaned everything and blew out every oil passage on the right side. On the left side the starter gear was so clogged with mud it no longer would engage. Cleaned everything on the left side. Put 1 US quart in the engine. Ran it several times, stopped it and still no oil on the stick. The stick does get wet while running. It seems like there must be a hole in the upper sump. Inspection under both the left and right covers did not reveal any holes or cracks.
Any ideas? It really don't want to split the case. Thanks!

Hi
Does the bike not need more than just 1 quart of oil.
I would run it with the proper amount of oil for 40 minutes or so and then drain the oil and replace the oil filter.
I suggest doing it a second time too. If the oil is a milky color, it has water in it.
Regards
Allan
