2006 KTM 525 EXC FS - Street Titled/Legal

Up for sale is a 2006 KTM 525 EXC. The EXC is the wide-ratio transmission bike and is very capable on the dirt and street. This bike is street titled with a tag good for another 8 months or so. For the price, you will get a dirt setup and a street setup (see below for details). The bike has approximately 3000 miles ridden in the dirt and street. Most of the street miles were spent in the Ozarks and Appalachians for some twisty fun. The bike has never been down on the street, but has, of course, had some spills in the dirt. The only notable spill bent the subframe, which was replaced. The bike has never been raced on the street or dirt.

Here is what is included:

Pro-Taper Contour Windham bend bars (brand new)
E2 Racing aluminum handguards (brand new)
JD Jetting kit installed
KTM owners manual
Brand new Galfer front brake pads
Fresh fork seal/fluid job
Brand new Motion Pro throttle cables
New grips (street oriented)

Dirt Setup:

Excel (stock) rims with Michelin knobbies.
Chain (nearing the end of its life)
Complete orange plastics (front fender, radiator shrouds, rear SX fender, fork guards)
Flatland Racing radiator guards/braces (full wrap around)
Flatland Racing skid plate
Front numberplate
Front orange headlight shroud

Street Setup:

KTM Behr wheelset with Dunlop front and Pilot Power rear.
2 sprockets (38T and 43T Orange twinring)
Orange KTM chain to match 38T sprocket
Complete white plastics with brand new graphics (supermoto front fender, radiator shrouds, headlight shroud, rear fender, fork guards)
Acerbis mirror
Hi/Lo switch
LED taillight w/brake light actuator on rear pedal

To be 100% legal, you would need to install blinkers, a horn and a second mirror, though we have never gotten in trouble for the lack of these items.

All stock parts and extras that we have laying around are included. Bike is currently setup as a supermoto.

Price is $5800 OBO for everything.

Is that the bike your buddie was on last year for our WNC ride?
If so that's a nice KTM for sure.
Thanks Goose! Same one!

Here's a pic I took of it that day down by the river. Sad to hear your buds letting it go and I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I could.
