I recently acquired a Husbaerg fs 650 2001, the thing is crazy fast but needs a little love.

The bike when i got it

Teardown

As you can se from the milk in the engine, there is a coolant leak.

Engine is sent to Morstad Motor for full workover :))

Meanwhile I have time to fix some other stuff..

Happy with the result, much better than before.

A good friend of mine painted the frame in a beutiful blue.

How did you clean up the headers? wouldn't mind doing the same to my 525 whilst its in pieces :)
I cleaned them real good with brake cleaner, then used 200 grit sandpaper to get the brown corrosion off. Then 400 grit to get some shine, and 800 to finish it off
