Ok one more set of shots- engine is completely rubbermounted for vibes.Shoehorned the sob in there.....Juuuuust fits,chainline established and clear.I have to fabricate a special exhaust.I'm gonna revolutionize 2stroke exp chamber design, 30 years too late!:lol: Just kidding- I do have a good idea for a nautilis/snailshell design underbelly chamber with a variable length output cone.Should be able to tune it a little.... I had to strip it all down and rework the front engine mounts,that's where it sits...in Pcs right now.

I am looking at a few KTM 440's with intention to make it a motard and I was wondering if any of you have done it, and if putting new front forks off a newer ktm, plastics, wheels tires and brakes would be enough. If so what forks would work, plastics and what wheels?

I have had the item 495 mxc
which was a hand full in the right stuff. Also have 1995 km 440 mxc which is good in the tight stuff and fast on the open areas. I once ran it against a new Honda 250 mx
and the kid and his friends busted my chops until I pulled
the punk by riding a wheelie
past him at about 40mph leaving him in the dust.
Not a lot of low end but the
Midrange kicks hard and
unreal top end. Don't forget
there is a 550 although hard to come by.
