Just a though I had. Wouldn't a 17" front be better for a fast track like PIR? Or stick with the 16.5? In theory it would, right? :headscrat

If I had to answer, I'd say no.
Cuz the 16.5 (more specificly the tire for the 16.5) has a bigger contact patch, the geometry is virtually identical cuz of the taller sidewalls.
I look at it like this. If your flying through turn 1b & let off the throttle a bit cuz you're in too hot, I think the 17" will washout first. My opinion.

That does make sense though. I was thinking better turning with a 16.5 and forgot about the bigger contact patch. thanks!
