I'm not sure but it'll save you a bunch of money and there are some good choices of 16' tires out there. I have a buddy that runs this set up on his ttr 125 with slicks and he wins a lot of races. Good luck
it works really well. Ive used that setup for a few years with bridgestone BT45 tires

16 inch slicks? :bs:
thanks as soon as we can buy the wheels/ figure out how to attach the brakes we will be doing this
An XR80 front wheel is a bolt up 16" change. The rear is already a 16". I run that setup with a couple Conti Ultra front tires. Works well on both packed clay and pavement. If you can groove the tire, it will work even better on clay, but might self destruct on pavement. I use it for training more than competition, so take that for what it's worth.
I have the wheels for sale here. http://www.supermotojunkie.com/showthread.php?t=91793
just put some 100/90-16 bridgestone bt-45 tires on and you will have an awesome setup for mini moto racing.

if you wanna stay cheap stick with stock and throw some Kenda's on. The stock setup is amazing in the dirt sections and not too shabby on the pavement either.
kenda what??what size will work??

Lots of sources for TTR stuff. PMT or MITAS tires work great. 73 Moto Parts, Moto Triad, GatorRimz all make 12's for the TTR. I got mine from 73 Moto because I wanted gold wheels.
