So I blew the stater on my wr426 I picked up a yz426f stator I'm going to run this cause it's just a trail bike and I have a lighting system that's interchangeable with a battery sydm already on it so I don't require any lighting power I'm just trying to see with the yz stator do I need a yz ecu and if not somebody please tell me how to connect it up I tried the way the book says but I'm lost

How did it blow? I have a wr426f flywheel stator in my yz426f to power my led lights. The only thing different I believe is the yellow lighting wire on the wr vs yz so you’re fine as far as plug and thump. Would hate for that to happen to mine because those parts arent cheap and probably not available anymore
