I have just bought a Husqvarna SM510R and I have a simple question:
How many houers can i run before I have to change the piston?
This is a street bike.

I have been working on a friends 1999 Honda Cr 80 he had blown the top end and had some pretty bad scaring in the jug so ....to save a few bucks he got a "2003 CR80" jug off eBay that had a new standard bore sleeve in it . The jug also came with a new piston and ring the ad says it is a Wiesco...
Noticed in the parts book we have 2 part numbers for cylinder/piston kits:
8000 A5012 - Cylinder assy
8000 A5011 - Cylinder assy - Note "A", which translates as "In Alternative" in the notes index.
Can anyone shed any light on the difference between these kits?
I found on JEs website that they have pistons available for the wr's. Here's the problem. They told me there wasn't enough of a demand so they pulled production. They said they could make me a piston. But I'd have to get 2 made. I have no use for 2. So it would be 520.00 for 2 pistons, rings...
