Sweet lookin' bikes, looking into getting a CRF 450, wondering what the weight differences, and advantages of the 650's are, anyone clue me in a little? Make me a not so noob to the motard world?

Thanks

What USD's are you using? i almost bought a set of marzocchi shivers but got told they were crap?

Is it worth getting a pair of CRF450 forks and modifying the valving for the road, or are you better off spending the money up front and getting a set of supermoto forks at the start?

I like the all black. I wish someone made all black plastics for the XR.

The only thing I had to paint was the side panels (I painted the fender too but I'm pretty sure Cemoto makes a black one). My engine came all black when I bought it, I'm not sure if that was done aftermarket or what? I haven't seen any other motors like that.

Excellent!! How are these guys fitting these shrouds? Does someone make a kit, or are they all custom?

There is a kit - but it includes a different fuel tank and isn't that cheap.

The one in your pic is the Monnier one - http://www.monnier.ch

There's also another similar one which uses an Ally tank and lets you fit CRF shrouds, IIRC.

Thanks

From what I can find it looks like Tuf Racing is the US importer. I emailed them today, so I'll let you know when I get a response.

XR-MANU,
Any idea who makes the skid plate on that 650R? I was talking with E-line for a while about building a carbon skid plate for a while but they never went through with it.
